Jonathan Smith is the owner of Smith Family Insurance Center and has spent more than 20 years helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most. A BGSU graduate with a degree in Finance, Jonathan believes insurance is ultimately about relationships—taking the time to understand his clients, being there when they need him, and serving as a trusted local resource. His commitment to the community extends well beyond the agency, including eight years on Perrysburg City Council and his current service on the Wood County Park District Board of Commissioners.
Outside the office, Jonathan is an avid runner who rarely turns down the opportunity for a 5K, 10K, or half-marathon and hopes to tackle a full marathon someday. He and his wife have been married for 15 years and are raising four children, so family is at the center of just about everything he does. During the summer, you’ll likely find the Smith family at a baseball field somewhere—whether it’s Little League, the Mud Hens, or a Major League game. And when there’s time to slow down, Jonathan’s drink of choice is a well-aged glass of Scotch.
